Data Export
Octane supports raw uploads of invoice, subscription and customer data to Google Cloud storage and AWS S3 at a regular cadence. We will upload invoice, subscription and customer data daily in JSON format to a bucket of your choosing. To engage in this product please contact customer support.
Authorization allows Octaneās service account to write to a bucket of your choosing. We recommend adding a āPrincipalā to the bucket youād like written to when itās created.
First click the settings modal next to the bucket you created in Google:


Then click the āEdit Accessā button that pops up:


Then add the right for Octaneās service account to push to your bucket by adding a āPrincipalā to your bucket:




The value of the principal you should put in the box is: extraction-account-pod-sa@octane-prod.iam.gserviceaccount.com
Then click āSaveā and youāre all done! Now when you engage with Octaneās support team we will easily be able to write your invoice and subscription data to Google Cloud.
In the AWS S3 Settings Console, create a bucket you would like Octane to write to, and then navigate to the āpermissionsā tab of the said bucket:


Navigate to āBucket Policyā in the permissions tab, and click āeditā


Paste the below IAM permission in the text editor, allowing Octane to read & write from and to your new S3 bucket. Now youāre done!
